Homework

  • Students will be given homework each time they come for class. They need to complete said homework before their next class.

  • Depending on their level, students are encouraged to time themselves and complete their worksheets within 20 - 45 minutes.

  • When completing worksheets, students must avoid using their fingers when counting or writing carry over.

  • Parents may help oversee the homework time and help point out to the students where there are mistakes.

  • As mentioned in the Program Summary, parents can also expect to see books repeated (some up to 6 times) to reach the goals of mastery and a strong foundation.

  • Students taking English twice a week do not have homework except when booklets are done part in class and part at home due to allow them to learn at their pace.

LEARNING TOOLS

  • Students will be given tools to help them solve problems in the program. They are responsible for taking care of these tools and bringing them each time they come for class.
